The molding process of glass fiber reinforced PA6 is about the same as that of unreinforced, but because the flow is worse than that of the former, the injection pressure and injection speed should be increased appropriately, and the barrel temperature should be increased by 10-40℃. because the glass fiber will be oriented along the flow direction during the injection molding process, causing the mechanical properties and shrinkage to be enhanced in the orientation direction, resulting in the deformation warpage of the product. therefore, the position and shape of the gate should be reasonable when the mold is designed, the temperature of the mold can be raised in the process. the product is taken out and put into hot water to cool slowly. In addition, the larger the proportion of glass fiber, the greater the wear of plasticizing components of injection molding machine, preferably bimetallic screw and cylinder.
