Unsaturated polyester resins are used for pultrusion are basically o-phenylene and m-phenylene types. Beta benzene type resin has better mechanical properties, toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. At present, more domestic use is o-phenylene type, pultrusion moulding process requires the use of resin viscosity is low, the main use of unsaturated polyester resin and epoxy resin or modified epoxy resin. Unsaturated polyester resin used for pultrusion is basically o-phenylene and m-phenylene type, m-phenylene type resin has better mechanical properties, toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. However, the actual production process found in the existing technology of the resin material still can not fully meet the requirements of the pultrusion moulding process, for example: heat resistance there is room for improvement.
