Basalt Fiber Chopped Strand is coated with a special surface treatment agent to make them binding strongly with asphalt concrete.Basalt Fiber Chopped Strand can significantly improve asphalt concrete the high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance , water damage performance and fatigue resistance, then greatly improve the service life of asphalt concrete.

Basalt Fiber Chopped Strand is a product made from continuous basalt fibre filaments that have been short cut by bulking treatment.

Product Storage and Transportation

Unless otherwise specified, the Basalt Fiber Chopped Strand products should be stored in a dry, cool and moisture proof area. Best used within 12 months after production date. They should remain in their original packaging until just prior to use. The products are suitable for delivery by the way of ship, train, or truck.
