Product Application

Geotextile is a kind of geosynthetic material with the following main functions:
Isolation effect: Separate different soil structures to form a stable interfacing, so that each layer of structure can give full play to its performance.
Protection effect: geotextile can play the role of protection and buffer to the soil or water surface.
Seepage prevention effect: geotextile combined with composite geomaterials can avoid liquid seepage and gas volatilisation, ensuring the safety of the environment and buildings1.
Water conservancy engineering: used for seepage control, reinforcement, isolation, filtration, drainage of reservoirs, dams, channels, rivers, seawalls and other projects.

Specification and Physical Properties

1, The density of polypropylene is only 0.91g/cm3 (that of polyester is 1.38g/cm3) Therefore, compared with polyester geotextile, polypropylene geotextile has a larger coverage area under the same strength.

2, The special structure of polypropylene makes it have excellent acid and alkali resistance, especially since the alkali resistance is better than that of polyester. When it is used in underground protection, reinforcement, waterproofing and seepage prevention projects with strong soil acidity and alkalinity, its effect is better than that of polyester.

3, The surface friction coefficient of polypropylene fiber is small, the friction between fibers is small, and the wear resistance is good. The anti-vibration friction performance is much better than that of polyester.

4, Polypropylene has good hydrophobicity and no water absorption. Its application in water supply and drainage engineering is better than that of polyester.

5, The strength of polypropylene anti-sticking needle-punched geotextile is higher than that of polyester needle-punched geotextile with the same gram weight, and the longitudinal and transverse strength is equal.

Product Storage and Transportation 

Unless otherwise specified, the products should be stored in a dry, cool and moisture proof area. Best used within 12 months after production date. They should remain in their original packaging until just prior to use. The products are suitable for delivery by the way of ship, train, or truck.
